Wake up

Wake up; lie there half asleep for a bit,
Downstairs, Make brew,
Sit down, Telly on,
Start deciding what to do.

Feeling rough, Go upstairs, Have shower,
Get dressed, Do my hair
(Taking care to make it look like I don’t care),
Have shave, back downstairs.

Find my keys; grab my phone,
Check my wallet’s in my pocket,
Out the door, Lock it,
Start walking…
