Wonder Why

Sitting here I wonder why
the stars don't fall from the sky
why do the stars shine only at night
and how do the birds rest in flight
how do the birds stay in the sky
and how do they fly up so high
which way is up which way is down
and how do we stay on the ground
sitting here I wonder why day is light
and it is dark at night
why does a summer day get so hot
and in the fall hot it's not
how does the wind blow
and where does it go I'd like to know
why do we fall asleep at night
and wake with the morning light
all these things I wonder
all my thoughts I ponder.

This is a really sweet write. Nursery rhyme like. Very nice indeed.
