I AM not of this space
I AM not of this space.
Ed Stackhouse
Some days I feel too old for this world.
It is a world of technological revelation,
Perspiration, agitation, immigrant invasion.
I live in this space but I am not of this space.
The pressure is back breaking, spine severing,
Mind numbing, drug taking, head aching.
I live in this space but I am not of this space.
Other days, the world is too old for me.
How many years older is the world?
A thousand, million, billion, trillion umpteen bazillion?
Or is this world only as old as I am?
Before I was, was it? I don’t remember anything,
Before I remembered anything.
Maybe, I live in this space and I am this space.
I think therefore I am.
I thought therefore I was.
I thought I was.
Perhaps I am not.
I AM that I AM and I am not I AM.
I AM is the space that I am of and need to be in.
