Between Randomness and Order

There are more than six billion people in the world. That is six billion hearts, six billion lives; six billion souls; six billion humans. So what happens when one of those six billion falters? Will the other billions stop and help that flickering soul, or will they let it burn out and die?
When you stand in the face of death, what do you really feel? Do you wish to greet it, or run away? I used to think that I would run away, now that I am in the presence of death, I cannot honestly be sure. Why is this happening to us? Why are we here? Why is this happening to us, of all people? There are too many questions, too many lives.
There are six billion of us out there.
Each has their own feelings, own hearts and souls. So what happens when one falters? Will they fall from grace, or will the others catch their fall?

What is this?
It seems more of a statement of a fact followed by questions.
To put this idea to writing you should have a character/object with this conflict exemplify what happens when one of the six billion falters.

There's no object, no conflict. This isn't a short story.
