Downage and Outage

Downage and Outage are words I've seen banded around a lot these days. It's usually to do with websites and things that rely on electricity. Although Outage is actually a real word, downage isn't. And quite frankly, it's a pretty stupid word. You wouldn't say "Uppage". Or "Innage". They're definately not real words.

Come to think of it, banded isn't a real word either, at least not in the context I just used it in. But it sounds right. Unlike texted, which is complete crap but said by most people these days. The past tense of to text is text. Anyone who says texted is a moron. I even hear the BBC using that one.

Not that any of this matters of course, we'll all be spelling fings lik dis in a cpl ov yrs anyway.
