Americans Foul Up Again!

The Americans, renowned for screwing up the English language by taking all the 'u's out of words and changing the meanings of things, have gone one step further now with their latest mutilation.
Not content with changing the expression: 'Full Stop' to 'Period', they have now been reports of our trans-Atlantic cousins saying 'Diarrhea' rather than 'Explanation Mark'.

"I can't understand it!" said English Professor, Harry Baquside. "I can understand them changing the word 'Pavement' to 'Sidewalk', its easier for their simple minds to understand. But naming punctuation after bodily functions - its ludicrous! What next - will they start calling 'Question marks' 'Ejaculations'?"

The change has occurred very quickly, with only old people who don't own TVs not using the trendier new word.

We're not sure if the yanks know what it means yet, so don't tell them, and we can all keep having a good laugh.
