At Least We Asked

Ask of me to marry
Ask of me to pave the way
Ask of me to buy a house
move, and move away
Ask of me to stray from family
Ask of me to go to the city
Ask of me to leave my mommy
I’ll give you my everything
There will be nothing left
And when my soul is black and withered
Remember to blame yourself

I’ll ask of you to give your cherry
I’ll ask of you to run from God
I’ll ask that your forsake your family
and give up everything you’ve sought
I’ll ask of you to fuck perfectly
I’ll ask of you to forgive me
I’ll ask of you to give me everything
until there’s nothing left
But when your soul is black and withered
I’ll forget to blame myself.
