Forget Destiny

Two souls share space together.
Miles apart yet here we are.
now I can bask in the pleasure
of your voice, your face, your arms.

Not meant to be, we have to think.
There’s too many years and miles apart,
too much distance,
and other worlds that share our hearts.

But in this moment,
in our brief existence,
all I can think of, all I need,
is this brilliant light between us.

Give me your words, your thoughts, your cares.
I want to memorize your soul.
Let me sink deep into your arms.
The feel of you makes me feel whole.

My fingers touch your waist.
My cheek against your face.
I enjoy your neck’s slightly salty taste
and my hands love your shape.

Sweet dimples on your back.
Electric tingle up my arms.
There is nothing that you lack.
There is no end to your charms.

Your soft lips entrance me.
Mine crave them endlessly.
Your eyes romance me,
look into mine so pleasantly.

Touch my tongue with yours.
Press your mouth to mine.
The touch of your hand,
thrills up my spine.

My fingers push down on your chest,
pressing hard, exploring bolder.
My hands roaming your breasts.
My teeth bite skin on your soft shoulder.

Kissing me so very tender,
I want you, crave you, wrong or right.
Your form so lovely lithe and slender,
you look so beautiful tonight.

You’re intricately feminine,
perfection head to toe,
mystic and lightly complex
with a touch of the exotic.

Hold me now,
don’t let me go.
The clock betrays me.
How can I feel so.

Crushing hard embrace.
It felt so deeply good,
I could hardly catch my breath.
But it’s over too soon.

Much too soon.

Janet,

First, thank you very much for reading it and commenting. Second, how about two people who seldom get to see one another because they live on opposite sides of the country, and distanced by age difference as well. They have their own lives apart, but, somehow, they get together once in a while and have something beautiful for a night or two?

and all of that from a distance? You have created a beautiful love scene, but I don't get the distance--miles apart--unless it makes reference to something besides geographically. Wish I knew the answer to that. I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes. Janet
