Liquid Love - Wee Challenge #34

Audrey dreamed of the ocean.

The soothing sound of waves lulled her into a deeper sleep. Her subconscious enjoyed the salt smell, the gentle breeze, the warmth of the summer sun. A perfect moment’s peace, free of tantrums and minor catastrophes.

Children's laughter tickled her ears. Sand clung to her damp feet like brown sugar. The spray of sea water from the crashing waves cooled her sweaty skin.

The spray turned into a torrent, and she awoke, choking. She sat upright, drenched in a cold, purple liquid.

Three-years old Josh and Kyle smiled sweetly. Kyle held an empty glass.

“We brought you some Kool-Aid, Mommy.”

Oh! It was all so lovey, I was right there by the sea, my favorite place. Poor, purple mommy lol. Very good, Vickie, well written, quite captivating.

That's great! How did you come up with that so quickly?
Nice twist at the end too.

Oh and it's purple! Priceless. The description of the dream is vivid, I was right there with her. :)
