THE BUSHWICK FLU

My drive has forced me
to this prison of glass
and brick, forced to rub
shoulders with the people
of the proverty sun.

Folks who worship the
almighty brew and smoke
while, i'm spit upon for
trying to rise to what
shine beauty and cries
gold.
