Crossing Over

What awaits us as we leave the world we were born and raised in? An environment that has taught us everything we know. The topic of death is topic that can be debated for hours on end. The question many of ask is, “what awaits us on the other side?”

What awaits us as we leave the world we were born and raised in? An environment that has taught us everything we know. The topic of death is topic that can be debated for hours on end. The question many of ask is, “what awaits us on the other side?”

Hundreds of books have been written many have debated with skepticism. And for the many people who have experienced near death experiences. They have claimed that these moments they spent near death were the most peaceful, warm and wonderful moments of their life. Many have said that those moments cannot be describable with words. It goes beyond words. Many have claimed that they saw a light. Some say they saw people who they loved who died stand before them in the moments they were near death.

I ask you. Is their a better place that awaits us? A place with peace, with love, a place where no evil exists, just endless love, a place where there is only harmony, where the concept of pain does not exist.

Most of us fear death. I know I do, but as I write this piece to you and think about what many have described, “the crossing over” to be like then my mind begin to wonder and my fear begins to slowly disintegrate because if there is a wonderful place that awaits when we cross over then maybe death isn’t so bad and maybe we shouldn’t be so feared or saddened by death.

And for the people who believe that once you die your life is over and that’s it. Well, I would like to ask you if the miracle of birth exists, if a woman can conceive a life (the wonderful elements and characteristics that a person has), the ability to grow, to live, to learn and to love, and the ability to reproduce life over and over again. How was all these wonderful things created for us? Who created them? Where did they create them? Is there another place beside this world?

If you look around and think for a second, “how did air we breathe we breathe get here?” The ability to smell, see and understand and create the things that bring the happiness in our lives? And look at our bodies, the changes in ourselves as each year passes by. Each year the pieces of life begin to fall in place and I begin to understand so many things that never made sense in my life before.

And at the end when we finally put the puzzle together it’s now time to go. Why does it take so long to put the puzzle together? And when we put the puzzle of life together where are we supposed to go with all that knowledge?

Is there a reason why we’re here? Are we in training? Is there a better place waiting for us? Are we here to get rid of the evil people who fail the test and the ones who pass cross over to the heavens above. A place that waits for us and then they reward us once we arrive. Once we pass our training will our rewards be waiting for us in the heavens?

Maybe we shouldn’t use the word death, because it sounds so morbid and so final. The ones who are crossing over are going to be rewarded in a wonder place where we refer to as heaven. Their new life is just beginning. And they aren’t leaving us. There souls cross over and they still remain in our hearts. Because when they cross over they leave their love, their cares, there memories they implanted in our souls. They leave everything wonderful about them with us. They leave a piece of themselves with us. Because where there going there is plenty of love and harmony to go around. And when they were physically with you they listened and watched over you, they cared for you, protected you, and loved you when they were here. Why shouldn’t they love and protect you when they are there in the heavens?

In loving memory of Rose Mann who is being rewarded as she crosses over.

Isaiah 57:2

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
