That you wanted me the most

It Was When I told you to leave me alone
That you had to ask me why

It Was When I finally told you
That you didn’t get it

It Was When you persisted
That I knew I couldn’t speak

It Was When you looked at me with that look
That I knew--

That…I…knew-

That I just knew…
