Love Staged

Act I

Pleasured whimpers
Blissful sighs
Revealing whispers
Ecstatic cries
Pleading
Begging
Grasping
Needing
Come together
Fiercely
Melodically ~
A torrid culmination
of hot passions
Orchestrated
in the darkest hours
as a hunger induced
Opera is
Finalized
In a splendid
Crescendo
and
Slowly fades
Gently
into the
Warmed
Velvet night …

Act II

Two hearts
Beating
In love synced
Rhythm
Lying peacefully
Satiated
Softly
Divinely
Entwined
Flesh tingling
Breaths slowly
Mingling
Soloed tunes
Combined in a choir of
Contented silence~
A gentle lullaby
sweetly played out
as echoing calls
in the darkness
while the lull
of Morpheus
gently lowers
the curtain
of contentment
down upon them……

reuses one of the elements that I know I've mentioned before make your poetry strong:
the series of linked single word lines, gives a nice smooth variance to the tempo. i.e.
Pleading
Begging
Grasping
Needing
and
Satiated
Softly
Divinely
Entwined
also, the first four lines do that in a more complex manner.
The use of acts, that was new and creative.
had to google morpheus, 'greek god of dreams'; well used.
all I could think of was the character in the matrix, that seemed out of place.
cool ending.
great poem
