"X" Marks the Spot

"X" marks the spot. "X" . . . shrouded in mystery.
Where is it from? This "X" of our history.

Was Jesus aware of the cross he would bare?
Or was "X" like a sign from the heavens divine.

Beneath a tree Buddha sat, was there an "X" under that?
Or could Mohommad's Koran, enforce the "X" to disarm?

What is this "X" and where does it lie?
Symbollic secret, unwilling to die.
"X" MARKS THE SPOT.

"The Buffalo Hunters"

by Nicholas Jakari

Violent, graphic novel set against the background of the South African revolution in 1994. The lives of five groups of people intersect during a bloody and violent Saturday night and Sunday morning. Not for the squeamish. Climax based on an actual gunfight involving the author.
