dreaming
Curled up on my side
Waiting for the darkness to come and take me
With it comes relief
Release from all the pain
But it isn't always a release
It is just another prison
Trapped in my own mind
Unable to escape
And yet, this prison is better than being awake and alive
Cause I know that no matter how real it seems, it isn't and it will eventually go away
It is frightening that sometimes I just don't want to wake up
All I want to do is to stay there
Wrapped in that safe, warm cocoon
But this is cowardly
We can't run from our problems
No matter how much we want to

| I really luv this one! Dreams can do much to us. I really hate when you want out, and to wake up....but you can't seem to, or when you never want it to end....but then guess what!!!! |

| i like the two realms and the idea of being able to hide in a dream, knowing we can wake up. A good read. |

Dreams a great... I go on an adventure every night to places I've never even seen.
Dreams can be a great inspiration and give us insight into our own lives...
I like what you have done here and that you know you cannot escape to your dreams, but they are a great place to find refuge.
Well done. ;) |
