Ah, summer that comes or we shall grieve
Ah, summer,
that comes
or we shall grieve
ah, the light
unveiling doubts
and grabbing secrets
by the hair
a blanket
the past weaved within
Resume the strength
and love will grow deeper
running underneath
the root through which
the lymph shoots up
this very moment
to the sky
lifting the warm dirt
where dreams dig their nest
It's eight o'clock in the morning
sun is growing within
coffee, your scent
left in the unmade bed
water,
eyes closed on your hand
reaching for mine
in silence
I exhale at last
at the end of my breath
your starts
freedom
we shall go back
to the heavens
where all that is
stays

Who is the speaker?
Is it spring? |

Well, in response to your comment, it was a bit about me. But mostly about what I see in writers, poets, and mankind.
As for your poem, I'm floored. The structure makes me more than happy. Shortness rox.
Very snappy, but in a good way. Not cliche, also good. Interesting phraseology.
I commend you on your poetry. |
