Here At Home

I’ll stay home
I’ll be lazy
I’ll take time
To settle down easy

Here at home
I know, I can take the time
To hold you in my arms
Always feeling safe from harm

When I’m home
There’s a lady
She takes time
To settle down easy

Here at home
She knows, she can take the time
To hold me in her arms
Always feeling safe from harm

With you by my side
I’m bound to get over
The time that I spent without you
With you by my side baby
My searching is over
Give us one smile
And in just a little while

We’ll be home
We’ll be cozy
We’ll take time
To settle down easy

Here at home
We know, we can take the time
Always feeling safe from harm
Wrapped in one another’s arms

With you by my side
I’m bound to get over
The time that I spent without you
With you by my side baby
My searching is over
Give us one smile
And in just a little while

We’ll be home
Here at home

Hi again Stephen

Neat poem. It would be great lyrics to a song. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Sincerely,

Lisa Marie

awww.. this poem made me feel all warm and fuzzy. It kind of reminded me of what the country version of the song "bubbly" would sound like.
