This is my first Blog entry, fun fun! I am hoping if I write about my writing I will be more on track. Well on track is the best way I could put it. It isn't that I get off track as much as I hit lulls. I have been working on my novel for about a year now and am ten chapters into it. It really is going quite well, but I tend to work on it in spurts, sometimes due to my own lethargy and others because my life is too hectic. I am 5 months pregnant with my second child and have a four year old as well, not to mention my husband (which all you wives know, requires just as much attention as the four year old.) Also, about two months ago I arrived at work and they had discontinued my boss' position. I work at a resort and she was the activities director. Well just because they discontinued her position doesn't mean that the work she was doing doesn't need to be done still. So needless to say my duties at work have somewhat taken control of my life as I am doing things like organize events and activities, make the schedule, order supplies, maintain the budget (which has improved from not hitting any where near it to being over ever since I have taken control, YAY ME!) Now I can't say I have done this stuff single handedly, my director, our general manager and a new girl that has started have all been a lot of help, but still it is a large step up from being the craft girl and reading story time.

Ok I was rambling, so back to my novel. It doesn't have a name yet, sorry I cannot give it a name till it is finished. It is like sacrilegious to me, because I don't know what directions it will take. The first 10 chapters are done and then as I started chapter 11 I realized that it was a perfect place to split it into separate books. So now I want to rewrite the first ten chapters and add in so much stuff that I was going to add in later. I am so excited to get started with my rewrite. I am filled with such a frantic energy it is going to be wonderful, I just know it. Wish me luck!
