Sahara

Alone I walk in a desert,
thirsty,iraty with chagrin,
searching for water to quench my thirst,
in this waterless environment.
I thought hard to find a way.
Oh! I am lost, who can help me out?
This dicey journey makes me melancholy.
Do I need to be thirsty, lonely and lost?
Though it is Sahara, no well, no river?
Hardly to find a tap or a chilled drink.
Tears dropped from my eyes as beads.
I raised my head and turned it side ways,
no trees, with their succulent fruits,
a shadow less place even though the sun scorches,
there came this person with a lot of promise,
soft-smile, blinking eyes, tranquility to my soul,
opulent with skills, talent and wisdom,
handing me a Gourd that I longed for it.
I'm dead, and I'm alive,
there came a piece,succintely constructed.
You are worth a freind, accepted,
please don't leave; now the journey start.
