I don't feel strong
Still sluggish and lazy
Not social
No emotional strength inside
To talk or face them
Just enough to keep a straight face
And mumble a few words

I could cheer up
I could pray, meditate, read,
Energy work, give, help, open up
But I don't want to

If I'm down, I'll stay down
When I'm back up, It's time to be up
I won't force it
That's unnatural

No fake happiness for me today
I don't have to be any certain way
No bucking up, putting my feelings aside
And doing what needs done today
No putting on a smile
To socialize with my family

If it happens, it happens on its own
I don't need help
There's nowhere I need to go
Most things in life aren't that important
Not for me to put on a show

I feel down.. it's a down period
I'll stay down
When it's time to go 'up'
I'll go up
