Re: Missed Call - Wee Challenge#35

New Message

I don’t suppose it occurred to you I might not be happy about what you  proposed to do? Wasn’t there some way of letting me know before you did this thing? I would have tried to save you. How could you mean so little to yourself, when you meant so much to me? I would have given my life for you, rather than you ending yours. The world is a sadder place without you in it. Now my life means nothing to me. I am coming to find you.

Oh! How clever of you, Grae, but how sad. This is a very creative take.
‘I would have tried to save you’ I suppose is why he wasn’t told.
‘How can you mean so little to yourself when you mean so much to me?’ This is THE question.
JMO but, ‘The world is a sadder place without you in it.’ Sounds not commensurate with the level of grief/loss, something an acquaintance might say.
Thanks for the write, well done

what an imaginative take on the challenge, grae.

you could have done it in 'text speak', but that would have detracted fro the subject matter,

great job

Match.com gone horribly wrong. Such an excellent use of 100 words.

"Fatal Attraction"? or "Play Misty for me"? Nice take on the theme!

Ah, shades of Romeo and Juliet. Good work, Graeme! Still snickering over you spraying Louise with WD40 to knock the rust off her.
