Weatherman
I’d glide down the windows,
rocketed from that great sheet
of gray from above,
all the way down to below.
I’d redistribute myself,
divide into many, many pieces
and tap tap tap on the ceiling’s other side.
But mostly, I’d stay up in the skies,
as a partial blanket above
all those little houses.
Just to witness all of my messes,
maybe set the mood right
for you and many spouses.
The kids will play in it
and the plants will be dancing.
The day will be disguised
as if in another time.
