Interview with Tilly Rivers
Interview with Tilly Rivers, Straight Talk Magazine.
April 2008
ST: Tilly- what do you think is the best thing that is currently happening in your career?
T: I love that I will be on tour this fall/winter with the release of Forbidden Fruit- I had so much fun writing it.
ST: How many releases does this make?
T: In the erotica genre, six. I have two romances, and three poetry books as well.
ST:You have been getting some great reviews for Forbidden Fruit- is it still exciting?- or after so many releases has it worn thin?
T: I am always overwhelmed with the support I get from my readers, the fact that they place me is such high regard is wonderful, and I never forget if it wasn't for the readers I would never be where I am.
ST: We certainly are fans, we have watched your career from the beginning, how does it feel to be a celebrity author?
T: I think the word "celebrity' should be reserved for those in the movies like Brad Pitt- I am just me- I am blessed that so many love my work.
ST: Not everyone loves your work- religious groups for example have painted a very negative picture about you. As well you have had some stalkers in the past. This must be hard to deal with?
T: Each person has the right to say what they think. Because they say something does not make it true. I am happy that so many have shed their sexaul issues and are more free about their desires- especailly women- I love the new generation of women who can be sensual, smart and walk with pride no matter if they have had intimate encounters with 1 or 100 partners!
ST: Whats next?
T: You mean besides the new book-tour and radio show? Who knows- I do not think anyone should put limits on life!
