WEE CHALLENGE #35 - INTERRUPTED (100)

“…we interrupt this broadcast for a news flash!”

“Julia, come in here.”

“Nineteen children are in guarded condition this evening at County General. Several presenting symptoms carried this doll.”

She gasped at the picture with details filling the screen.

“The Health Department recommends that parents who purchased this toy remove it pending a full investigation. We’ll keep you informed.”

“Is that the —”

“Yes, I better check Jenny.” Panic seized her as she raced to her daughter’s room. She turned on the bedside lamp. “Jenny.” Her skin felt clammy. “Jenny.” No response.

“Julia, call the ambulance while I carry her downstairs. Hurry!”

Thanks, Tim. I'll work it over as soon as I can to see what might be fixable. Much appreciated. Janet

//very very good..

A picture, including details filled the screen.

//this sentence doesnt compare to those others.. you might boost it by turning it into an active, subject verb sentence like the rest.

Julia is his wife. It becomes a bit more clear with the sequel. Thanks for commenting. Janet

Hmm, this is a cautionary tale, Janet. You tell it well, nice and tight. BUT, who is Julia, who is she? lol. Child, partner?
Good job!
