My May

****************************************

April storms have washed away
my lover of yesterday
and when June blooms I will
have a new Romeo to sweep me away
but for 31 days you are my May
I am your Queen
You are my King
Love breathes
Our bodies sing
Until the final hour
May gives way to tomorrow

Makes me think of the old song by Gale Garnet (no idea how to spell her name) "We'll Sing In The Sunshine" of course she was willing to stay a year, heh heh.
Got here after reading your comment on Hey June.
Good work as usual, Sheri!
