The Pantoum Of The Opera, 2008 - Alien's Wee #16

Pantoum:

"I am the Pantoum of the Opera - expand your mind.

My stanzas, they are purely quatrain formed, that's just four lines.

I have a rhyming scheme of simpleness - I think you'll find."

Christine:

"The Pantoum's final words that he doth speak, his first entwines.

Pantoum:

Christine:

"Is that how the cool Pantoum operates - with just two rhymed?

The Pantoum's final words that he doth speak, his first entwines."

Pantoum:

"No less, an abab rhyming scheme," the Pantoum chimed.

Christine:

Is that how the cool Pantoum operates - with just two rhymed?

Pantoum:

"Again, say every single thing again, repeat my lines.

No less, an abab rhyming scheme," the Pantoum chimed.

Christine:

"For how long must the Pantoum be like this - is there no end?"

Pantoum:

"Again, say every single thing again, repeat my lines.

Beware my words are never left unrhymed - they must be rhymed!"

Christine:

“For how long must the Pantoum be like this - is there no end?”

Both:

"The Pantoum of the opera is here - you have been primed."

This was amazing! I was giggling at the title alone for ten minutes. I love how you were able to use this form into drama. Stunning. Simply stunning.

*goes back to uncontrollable laughter*

SEN-SA-TION-AL

I just have one question about this one.

Which of the following applies?

a) This piece came easy for you, because you are mind-blowingly clever.

OR

b) You worked hard on this piece, and you are mind-blowingly clever.
