If these walls could speak
They would tell about my tears
For seeing you in pain
Is hurting me too.
If I could contemplate
With your body to stay strong
No worries along your path
As the final chapter in your life
unfolds.
If I was blessed and able
To keep all sorrow away from you
Believe me, it's all I would do
If my heart has to bear
Facing dark times with you
I will see you through
This love that knows no end
The bond between child and parent
Stronger than the darkest dark
Though we may not win
For all paths come to an end
We will be winners
Because we have each other.

Beautiful. Speaking as one who's watched a love one die and felt helpless, I can certainly relate to this lovely and very touching piece. This is very very moving...
