The Ocean Brings Me Gifts

Waves crashing
hard into my legs
Rolling out
just as I get used
to the sensation
Leaving me
beautiful sacrifices

Wet, foamy sand
left behind
I am the witness
of such beauty
Shining adornments
as far as the eye can see

Wind whipping
through my hair
Wet footprints
burned to memory
Sun kissed cheeks
loving this entrancing place

Walking away
for the journey home
One last glance, one last wave
softly into my legs
Kind Farewell
These are the gifts
the Ocean brings me

this piece is very serene, the line breaks here dont give a sence of deception as in one of your other pieces i've read, but it works well, makes you pause and take a break as if resting, i also like the way the nature beauty of the landscape and the situation are described, your word choice is excellent, lovely piece, thank you for sharing, patrick.

Do your musical talents evoke such wondrous pleasures Bebe?
If so, I need to hear all the pieces… no kidding,
only a beautiful mind could paint with such warmth.
