Out of the Box
eons ago Today
I found a box of pictures
A few of me, lots of you
One was where you had stolen my shoes
Seeing my toothless grin
Smiles that each told a lie
Pouts that told a million stories
All the things that passed me by
I thought I would remember each second
And pictures only say a million words
But my life could go on for pages
if you could write it all down
All of this made me late for work
And I forgot what I was going to do
But I'm glad I finally caught up with myself
And had time to remember you.
