Worn

Battered and broken
Down upon my knees
No floor beneath me
You cannot hear my pleas.

Distorted and disfigured
Reverse the image I see
An unknown reflection
Staring back at me.

Distant and lost
Listen to the eerie sound
Quaking and shaken
Loosing ground.

Falling and dropping
As I descend
Waiting and wishing
For this ride to end.
