Final Thoughts Before Bed
This one removes crow's feet,
that one is made from emu oil.
Not tested on animals.
Fur is out of fashion,
aaaanyway…
Global warming is in.
It’s OK—
carbon dioxide can be taken
from the air, turned into liquid
and be injected deep into the earth.
It rumbled and took away
thousands as couples argue
over who bumped into who,
which car has better fuel economy,
which queue has fewer people.
So I rub product into my hair,
put it in place and set it with
hairspray,
trying not to inhale the fumes.
Then, I light a cigarette.

" . . . trying not to inhale the fumes. Then, I light a cigarette." Nice, very nice, Mitchy.
A couple of glasses of merlot before bed and all those pesky thoughts will vanish--replaced with more productive ones. ;) |

BOOM! Oh brother-I watch commercials all day with a little movie or sitcom plugged into the commercials somewhere. So disgusting-and when I turn the channels to find something else, it seems all the commercials are on at the same time so I am sunk.
We also get many drug companies advertising to make us feel better. Gee-they ban the drugs that REALLY make you feel better and they don't have nearly the side effects.
Great poem! |
