Catch It While You Can

Confused amongst
the masses
A silent and
hidden wit
A man outside
inside
a small lost child
Years buried
intentionally forgotten
Tears dried
fears no longer run wild
Love found
love lost
it will find you again
His heart too broken
to be wielded
Child resorts to his pen
Love lurks over yonder
Past dark murky waters
Past words that speak
jaggedly painful
Child listens
and falters
Keep walking
Head held high
Past venom and cruel
Young child
Burdened with
Unloving memories
which color his seeing
Beware what you behold
Love is ever so fleeting
Catch it
While you can~

A description of life summoned up in so few but beautiful words. How am I ever going to make a choice -- I think it will be up to you -- but I will have some of my own -- never thought this would be so hard. You do need to get this in a book! All of them!!1

I have to admit Broken, those last four lines are my favorite part too...this was once again, one of my very first writes....as for unhelpful comments, the writer is entitled to their opinion....But thank you for letting me know just in case I ever decide that I DO want to remove unhelpful comments....

That was my favorite part. Enjoyed the the fleeting temporal feel of this, the shifting impressions, little snatches of time; emphasized by the quick pace and short stanzas.

You can always delete unhelpful comments, BTW.

Jorbian...here's my question to you...why bother? If you can't leave anything more or less than such a lackluster comment...why waste your time? I certainly wouldn't.....really...
