Over The Years

You've been my strength,
when I was weak.
A helping hand,
when I needed one.
The family connection,
I so desperately wanted.

Over the years
You've been the voice
of reason,
when I could not,
be objective.

Over the years
You've told me
what I needed to hear,
instead of what,
I wanted to hear.

Over the years
You've been my rock!

Thank you

You wrote a very good poem. You must have remembered something or seen someone! Great. That is what shoud be written about! Best wishes.

This is a poem I wrote the other day for an extended family memeber.
