Open His Eyes
There's someone out there,
If he'd only open his eyes and see,
What he has waiting in the distance,
God set in front of him someone who truely loves him,
Who'd do anything for him,
He managed to do everything right to make the heart fall,
Then he cast it away and brought it back when he wanted more,
How many times does he expect her to cry for him,
How many times does he think she'll return,
People get scared and run,
She knows, She has done it to him also,
There is a time though,
When she really has to wonder,
Is this ever going to be right?
Is it always going to be this way?
She has played the games all this time,
Pretending not to care even though she did,
Letting him have his space,
When she wanted to be with him everyday,
His voice put her in awww,
His touch gave her chills,
He made her laugh,
He made her cry,
But he failed to see her devotion,
He failed to see her love was pure and true,
Now she is alone and crying again,
Sitting in the distance waiting for him,
Praying he'd find his way back into her arms.
