Hey Everybody!

I thought I would just put my little note at the bottom about my thoughts on the chapters of XHeart, but, since I think that sort of ruins the chapter, I decided…heck….

WHY NOT BLOG ABOUT IT?!?!?!?!

So, yay! I now have a blog. Which reminds me…I don’t think anyone really knows what my story is about.

Then here’s a lovely overall summary!

It is the winter of 1889, the ending turn of the nineteenth century growing near as the beginning of a new era opens. For the past century, a disease, known as the “Violet Valentine”, grows quickly from being part of just occult belief to actuality throughout the entirety of England. Able to kill with a rate deadlier than that of cholera, it is the greatest cause of the strains between neighboring nations, forcing allied countries to become traitorous within their states as the aristocracy becomes threatened beyond epic proportions.

As the incurable virus “that spreads through love” begins to develop, two organizations are slowly starting to rise to the surface. One is focused on peace, trying to find the answer that may restore the ties of the kingdoms. The other, however, is hell-bent, rising destruction that once had been sealed away so long into the world anew in the form of abominations and conspiracies….

Thane Hargrave, a nobleman of a tainted family name, partnered with his loyal manservant, Dante, tries to find a better understanding within the disorder, all the while endearing to solve his own problems of finding the body of a friend long since past. But how can a man, superfluous to the society that he was brought into, ever hope to find his answer, when even the world does nothing?

A Victorian steam-punk of the horror and comical kind, this is the first book in a line of five novels depicting one of the greatest periods the world has never known. Never existing, this period of torture, deception, and penance is other wise known as one of the bloodiest eras of them all….
