sun rise

You chase away the ghostly figures of dead trees.
Tranforming their dead gray stature to a fine work of art
The sky joyully accepts back it s blue color which was
Stolen by the night.

The young tender plant looks up to you with of hope survival .
The flowers welcolme your soft and tender rays with a smile.
Even the birds join in a joyous chorus.
Am the only one who is tormented.
Exposed to my sin, ashamed to be uncovered from the thick blanket of the night .
Guilt and pain surge in.
Fooled into thinking that the sun would never rise
I should not have kissed you.

Oh pj I thought this was simply a sweetly sentimental poem and then I got to the last four lines and it is stunning, the last line in particular. This is beautiful.

You give life to your poems-which makes the reader want more. Just a couple of typos-you'll find them when you read over it again. Thank you for such lovely words put out there for all to see.
