Somewhere between dreams and actual
I still think of you
Can feel your hands on me
Touching me to my very heart
Somewhere between asleep and awake
I still long to hold you
Even if you are never mine
To feel our bodies intertwined
Somewhere between fantasy and reality
You still can claim my soul
Though I’ve learned to live without you
You’re imprinted on it, you know
Somewhere between real and fake
Still I feel you are my fate
Time won’t let us go our separate ways
We will be together for the rest of our days
Somewhere between what we want and what we have
Even if only haunting each others lives
Knowing that perfect exists
But keeping it on the fringes-afraid
Somewhere between love and comfort
Still we will carry on
Foregoing all that can be said, should be done
Because what’s happening is something we can’t stop
Somewhere between hurting her and losing me
Still the truth you can’t see
And I can’t explain it
But your friend I will always be
Still….
Can’t you feel the love
Somewhere between you and me?
