If You Loved Me

And if I laugh, it's because I'm trying not to cry.
And it may be cliché, but I can't help but be.
And if you don't like it, you don't have to read.
And if you loved me, you wouldn't care anyway.

Don't hate me for who I am.
Don't love me for what I'm not.

And if I cry, it's because there's no reason to laugh.
And it may be cliché, but it is what I feel.
And if you don't like it, you don't have to read.
And if you loved me, you wouldn't care anyway.

Don't love me for what I'm not.
Don't hate me for who I am.

Awesome.

It's got awesome rhythm, and I read through it very smoothly.
