Endurance
Eternity into which we are damned
Murders us - creeping
Sometimes curious,
Playing with frenzied imagination,
Sometimes knowing,
Creating
Strangulated confusion.
We contemplate
Against inbuilt suffocation,
Reflections in the eye of evil -
Saliva drools, teeth sharpen,
Beast invites us face to face.
Intimacy becomes blugeoned
As an axe butchers pieces of life,
Dripping from a tap of endurance,
Until wearily running out of blood.
Melancholic winds strengthen
Over seas of desperation,
Waves of tears
Rise from eyes dark like the running ink,
From a quill falling
On parchment words changing destiny,
Lost interpretation,
Sensitivity turning to abrasive depravity,
Cold makes us seek each others warmth.
Holding closely into the dark
Forever floating,
We travel on stone-coloured clouds,
Rumbling thunder,
Lightning flashes,
Struggling against Satan's strategies,
Grasping for air that circles all around,
Lost souls trying to escape
From becoming corpses
Open to creatures trying to absorbing flesh
But we are bonded together forever
And fight........
