The falling rain
wakes me from my dream
my dream about love and you
You standing there
getting ready to say goodbye
forever
The tears on my cheeks
reminds me of the rain
on the window pane
I hate dreaming of you saying
goodbye
But there you are standing
at my door smiling...laughing
I let you in but then you disappear
and leave me again
My heart shatters
like that of rain drops
on the pavement
I’ve died inside because you said
goodbye
