Obligations

I'm your wife and
There are certain things
To which you feel entitled.
I know the reason
You give presents,
I know the reason
You wash dishes.
I should fall upon
My back for you.
I'm your wife and
There are certain things
To which you feel entitled.
Only when you want
Will you give
Only when you need
Will you serve
Only when you hunger
Will you care.
You should repent
Low upon your knees;
I'm your wife and
There are many things
To which I am entitled.

Well expressed. I've felt this way often, but never managed to put it into words. In a marriage, men are often the demanding ones and women give, give, give never asking for themselves, their own needs.
