Swans

Love nourishes the soul
Enlightens the heart
Its sinew makes us whole
Mourns the being apart

Love is found in her eyes
For mine are her tears
Fortitude guide me to her cries
I will endeavour to quell her fears

Born upon this mortal plane
Two yearning spirits reside
Manumission awaits to be gained
Watching the sands until they collide

For like the fabled mighty Swan
Solace is found when we are at one
