In the early hours of November 29, 2006, Vidal Sasoon 1500 passed away peacefully in its home.

"It was a peaceful death," said owner Jessica Publisher, "Vidal simply stopped running. Just like that. Most hair dryers start on fire, or there's at least a spark and a pop sound, but not Vidal. Vidal just stopped running mid-flow."

Vidal Sasoon 1500 lived to the ripe old age of 2 months old; a record for hair dryers who reside in Jessica Publisher's home.

In other news, the manufacturers of Vidal Sasoon 1500 are very happy that Jessica Publisher is such an avid hair dryer user.

"Most people use a hair dryer to dry their hair," said spokesman Iam Rich. "But Ms. Publisher uses the hair dryers for heat when her toes are cold, for sound when she's trying to relax before bed, and even to put plastic over her drafty windows. Ms. Publisher is by far our best customer. She blows up a hair dryer on average once a month."

Ms. Publisher was not happy about the death of Vidal Sasoon 1500. "My toes are cold and I'll never be able to fall asleep without something to drown out noise. Damn Vidal Sasoon 1500!"
