Is There ANyone Else Up There We Can Talk To?

Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
Because it feels like we've been sreaming down here
for quite some time now
Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
Because things don't seem to be going well down here
and I think it's time for a change
Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
It's more than a request, people are dying
our puppet regime is over
a real power needs to step up
we are in need of guidence
we are in need of direction
we need hope and assurance
not borders and better health insurance
we are in need of peace
we are in need of understanding
we need our unanswered prayers back
Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
Someone who will listen, someone who can respond
Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
Hello?
Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?
Hello!?
Or is there no one up there at all?

*oddly enough this was inspired by Monty Python, a scene where knights are standing outside the castle asking "Is there anyone else up there we can talk to?" Odd how such a funny thing can lead to this...
