move on

move on

these wounds you cant cover

with the lies you roll over

the back of your tongue

and my

blood hasn't held sober

since you walked away

move on

i thank you in advance

for the way you stumbled down

all that's left to glow

is this broken town

move on

you left me

with this collection of keys

with a chest full of doors

i wont open again

still searching for the sun

still humbled by the song

i move on

You make sadness cool Michael. Very slick poem, it has a wonderful flow through it and maintains the cynicism you began it with. I really liked it.

wow what a great piece, this is almost how i feel. my favorite part is with this collection of keys

with a chest full of doors

i wont open again

still searching for the sun

still humbled by the song

i move on" how sad it is to break up i know i 've been there.
