Wall-E

A Poem by Identitycrisis

Outside the rusty

square, yet still functional

old bolts, broken plugs, replacements

And then the splendidly

irresistible..sleek, so brand new

modern and fancy

Not realizing, both

opened new eyes

Duty, directive

robotic but so eclectic

Connection

Changed a world

so perfect, without planning

Holding hands

the new mystique

700 years between them

Still, the uncontrolled of

pheromone? personalities click

robotic fingers, finally...intertwine
