Seratonin Warmth

Seratonin Warmth

Like the sun, the wind, the moment
She permeates
with serotonin warmth
Oh how she insults youth
With callous remembrance

laugh lines
creased upon my pillow
I sought comfort
within the shadows
of her distant past
Tearing the moon apart
Her blistered sun

If I could only open my parasol
To catch her rain

laughter, with sinister delight
sprinkles of golden pixy dusts
the colour of her mind
Teasing me to peek into
my hourglass
Smoke filtered screen

Like a child
Her whimsical ways
Have yet to be foretold
beneath her laughter
I am told

lies a story
unspoken
and if I ever spoke of love
It is because I am reminded
Of her hiccup,
The sound of innocence

Beneath the clouds
I dare to understand
