An(other) woman

Why do I care more than you do?
I’m lying next to you
She’s the one who’s supposed to
be here
to hold you and laugh
with you.

what am I to you?
or should I say who
am I
to you this time?
you tell me you care
for her, you love her
then why do I feel worse
than you do
about what we just went
through?

If she only knew.

The sad part is I think she’d
still stay with you
oblivious

to all you’ve put her through
me through
I think it’s time we both
say goodbye…

to you.
