Empty, Begging Hands

It's not the same!
It's not ok!

No matter what you say!
It won't be alright, you know it won’t be alright!

No matter what, I won’t forget tonight!
I don't know how you can look at me that way...

Those eyes, they cry a loud in my mind!
Those hands of yours- hang at your sides,

Untouched, no loving fingers entwined!
Don’t look at me that way- no, not those eyes,

Please oh please don’t look at me that way!
I didn’t mean to say those things tonight!

You know I still love you right?
Don’t just walk away! Come back…

Don’t cry your eyes out another day!
Don’t whisper that it won’t change!

I love you, I swear upon those empty hands!
Those hands of which, should be entwined in mine!

I love you, I love you, I swear this tonight,
That I love you.
