I really had to tell you
Just what you mean to me,
When I’m feeling down and low
It’s you I have to see.
Your patience and your love,
And the way you lend an ear,
Are just some of the many reasons,
That to me you are so dear.
You pick me up when I’m feeling down
And for that I’m really glad.
Just one smile upon your face
Makes me happy when I’m sad.
A person like you is very rare,
A friend who is so true,
Which makes it very easy for me
To say that I love you.
